Abstract
This IDC study presents a comprehensive view of the cloud delivery model in the Czech Republic. The study contains market sizing for both public cloud and private cloud delivery models, and it offers a further breakdown of public cloud-related opportunities by operational management on the one side and by professional services associated with the cloud on the other. The study contains quantitative data based from 2010, five-year market forecasts, summarizes the major issues and impacts on the IT industry as a whole, and presents end-user views. The study also answers the following questions: "Adoption of cloud services is still in an early stage in the Czech Republic. Users in the country are conservative and seek proof points before they move to embrace this technology model. When asked in an IDC survey what reasons keep them on the sideline, almost half of the respondents said that they do not have enough information regarding cloud services. At this point, it seems that education about the merits of the cloud delivery method is the key to increased adoption." – Research Director Vladimir Kroa, IT Services, CEMA
