Abstract

This IDC study contains data and analysis of the IT services market in the Czech Republic, summarizes the major impacts indicated by IDC's qualitative and quantitative surveys of end users conducted in Q4 2011 and Q1 2012, and presents forecasts for 13 foundation market categories and for IT services spending by vertical market.

The study answers the following questions:

"Tactical short-term cost-cutting measures will dominate the Czech market in 2012, but a significant minority of users will prefer strategic long-term growth-oriented IT services investments, including business process automation and using IT to build decision-making tools to transform IT departments into internal ICT services providers." – Research Director Vladimir Kroa, IDC Czech Republic
