Abstract
This IDC study presents the top 100 IT services providers in the Czech Republic, including their market shares based on their respective performances in 2010. Furthermore, it examines in great detail the performance of the top 10 IT services providers in the Czech Republic. The study further presents these companies in IDC's Leadership Grid to illustrate current competitive positioning in 2010 and to illustrate the changes in position that are likely to occur over the forecast period. The study contains market size and shares for the top 10 services vendors by IDC's 13 foundation market categories. The study answers the following questions: "Service providers need to adapt their future strategies and portfolio planning to general trends such as the economic slowdown and clients being much more pragmatic and ROI-oriented in technology procurement, leading to thinner margins and shorter contract lifecycles. Smart service providers will use market volatility as an opportunity to guide clients with flexible portfolios, improved responsiveness, and guaranteed service-level agreements, which will improve qualitative aspects of services provisioning." – Research Director Vladimir Kroa, IT Services, IDC CEMA
