Sarka Grundy joined IDC in December 2010 as a consultant based in Prague. She is responsible for ensuring the completion of IDC's custom research and consulting activities for ICT markets in the CEMA region.
Prior to joining IDC, Grundy spent three years at Alpha Management Consultants, developing her expertise in market research and strategic consulting. Her responsibilities included assisting foreign investors with entry strategies for the Czech market and others in CEE, developing business strategies for existing clients, leading relevant strategic workshops, and managing diverse engagements across various industries.
As a project manager at the Czech Statistical Office, Grundy developed and managed an extensive survey of highly skilled professionals in the Czech Republic, which was part of a European-wide survey. Previously, she also worked as an analyst in the area of ICT and R&D for both private consultancies and public-sector institutions, and she served as a member of various international expert groups.
Sarka Grundy graduated from the University of Economics, Prague, and also holds a Master’s degree in international trade and European integration from Staffordshire University. She speaks English, German, and Spanish.
