Elena Semenovskaia is responsible for the software market in Russia and the CIS, including research into the enterprise software markets in Russia, the Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
Prior to joining IDC in 2004, Semenovskaia worked for several years as an IT consultant (researcher) in both the U.S. and Canada, with various private industry and government agencies. Before that, Semenovskaia worked as a research assistant for the distribution of official publications of the European Union among private companies, embassies, banks, government offices, and universities across Canada and the U.S.
